It's time to take your students beyond the worksheet and out of the traditional textbook! Since 2009 we have been providing quality, content-rich resources to get students engaged and excited about math!
About this resource :
This Back To School Escape has me SO excited!!! Why?! Well two challenges are editable and get your students learning about both YOU and your class. Three challenges are basic math brain challenges and three are interchangeable grade level specific challenges for grades 5-8!
This escape is MUCH different than others since it includes editable challenges and challenges that can be swapped based on grade level.
What makes this escape activity different?
This activity does not require the challenges to be completed in any particular order. In order for students to “escape” they simply have to find all 8 codes. This allows for (a) differentiation, (b) removal of challenges for time and (c) the ability for you to only make one copy of each challenge because as groups finish one challenge their next one can be whatever is available.
What is included?
⇢ CCSS and TEKS standard alignment for each grade level
⇢ Clear escape directions
⇢ A digital lock option
⇢ Links to locks/boxes to purchase

Since 2009 I have been creating quality, content-rich resources for middle school math teachers. As a teacher, I found myself struggling to find resources to meet the needs of my students while still maintaining quality and be engaging at the same time. From that need, Beyond the Worksheet was born!
